Role model- greta

jag ska skriva en text om min role model på engelska. Har hittills skrivit såhär:

                                                                             My role model Greta Thunberg 

My role model is Greta Thunberg who is a Swedish teenage climate activist. In August 2018, she started a school strike on Fridays for the climate outside the Swedish Parliament. She has received worldwide recognition for her efforts to fight climate change. Now many students and adults protest outside of their parliaments and local city halls all over the world. The movement is called “Fridays for future”. Greta has travelled the world, meeting with global leaders and speaking at assemblies to demand climate solutions. She was also nominated as a candidate for the Nobel Peace Prize and named Time magazine´s Person of the Year for 2019. 

To me, a role model is someone who is determined, calm and confident in themselves. Despite Greta´s young age, she has no problem standing up in front of thousands of people. By putting herself out there, she has received a lot of criticism on media. Mainly from middle-aged men. Still, Greta responds calmly and collected to these attacks. Despite the criticism, Greta never gives up her fight for climate justice. She is travelling by train or even by sailboat to join international protests. On the sailboat there is no bathroom. Instead there is a blue bucket which can be emptied overboard after-use according to Greta´s Instagram. Greta refuses to travel by plane because of the harmful carbon emissions it would create. When it comes to meals, Greta eats vegan food because it has the least climate footprint. If that´s not determination I don´t know what is.  

Skulle vara tacksam för lite feedback, vet att min engelska är ganska dålig. Den ska vara 3 min lång men är nu ca 2 min. Ska fortsätta skriva på den men har ni något förslag på vad jag kan lägga till får ni gärna skriva det.
