My role model.

Many of us have role models in our life and most people's` role models are often sport stars or celebrities but to me a role model is much more. For me, a role model is a person who influenced my life positive and  people who someone can look up to for advice in a hard situation, and know that they will give those words of wisdom.. The person who has been the role model in my life is my mother. She has been my teacher, counselor, role model, and friend for most of my life.  She inspires and motivates me to grow without any barriers. My mother looked after me and supported me in every part of my life. Right from childhood she has been with me like my shadow.

I could say that I and my brothers are getting a better and happy life because of our mother, but my mother's life has always been tragic. My mother went to high school and finished it in merit  but failed to continue her studies because of the war. But my mother started to go to adult learning center after her retirement so she could get job as a Preschool- teacher. When mom was 28 years old, she married dad but when she was almost 35 years, the war was at its peak and we missed dad in the war and then we fled to another part of the country. After these incidents she did not talk so much about emotions and how she really felt after father's death. She took on life and lived entirely for me and my brothers and she provide  us as alone parent until we came to Sweden.

My mom has always been my role model since I could remember, but I really got inspiration and my mother became the first model after she raised us on her own.

She really tried to do everything on her own and, as far as I know, did not use my mother to ask for help from others. She usually says we must learn to stand on our own. It is the most important word for me in life and an important inspiration that makes me do things to avoid being depend on others but being independent and managing myself on the present and in the future.

I learned from my mother to be honest and believe in God. If I have to make any big decision, I always asked my mom for advice because she has the wisdom and experience.

I learned from my mother that if I worked hard, I will get what I want. She always said “you will not get anywhere without hard work”. In our work a lot of people complain about small things. They want to have everything without giving any sweat.

She sets an inspirational example to me teaching me how to live life and make wise choices, even in the most uncertain situations.

I respect her a lot. She is my inspiration, my role model.
