You're meant to plot the function and use that to see which values of x make the function zero.

When solving for $x$, we want to isolate $x$ on one side of the equals sign. You have $x$'s on both sides, which is not what we want.

Do you understand what the exercise is saying? Do you have a graphing  calculator?

True. That's why I could not solved it. I found the two points on demos.com. 

But I am thinking whether can solve it without the graphing. 

Well, the exercise wants you to use a graphing calculator, but it is possible to solve without a calculator.

Are you familiar with the quadratic formula? (pq-formeln in Swedish)

It can be used to solve quadratic equations (andragradsekvationer) like this one.

No, I don't how how to solve quadratic formula. That's reason I posted the question on here. 

Do you know where I can learn about how to solve quadratic formula? Video would be great for me. Thanks!
