You're meant to plot the function and use that to see which values of x make the function zero.

When solving for , we want to isolate on one side of the equals sign. You have 's on both sides, which is not what we want.
Do you understand what the exercise is saying? Do you have a graphing calculator?

True. That's why I could not solved it. I found the two points on demos.com.
But I am thinking whether can solve it without the graphing.
Well, the exercise wants you to use a graphing calculator, but it is possible to solve without a calculator.

It can be used to solve quadratic equations (andragradsekvationer) like this one.

No, I don't how how to solve quadratic formula. That's reason I posted the question on here.
