The Great Gatsby

Describe the plot of the movie. (summary)

Nick moves to New York and joins Mr Gatsby. No one knows who Mr Gatsby is, but many rumors spread about him. He arranges huge parties and everyone wonders where he got all the money from.

Nick is the cousin of Daisy who also lives in New York. Nick visits Daisy and her husband Tom. There, Nick also gets to meet Jordan as Nick begins a relationship with (Vem menar du att Nick inleder ett förhållande med? Se över bruket av "as", det är inkorrekt, och beroende på svaret på första frågan se ev. över syftningen). Jordan tells Nick that Tom is cheating on Daisy.

Then Nick gets an invitation to Gatsby's party. At the party he meets Gatsby. Later he also gets to know through Jordan that Gatsby is in love with Daisy and that they before fell in love with each other (-Vem blev kär i vem? Oavsett svar ska inte before stå här i meningen). But then Gatsby had left Daisy done lots of other things (-Det saknas något mellan Daisy och done, och bruket av "had" funkar inte riktigt). Eventually Daisy couldn't wait any longer and she married Tom. Now Gatsby is back and wants it to be like before again. The parties he does because he hopes Daisy will get there (-Här är ordningen i meningen fel, och man kan ex. "host parties" eller "throw parties" men inte do parties riktigt).

Gatsby wants Nick to help reunite him and Daisy. Nick invites Daisy to tea where Daisy Gatsby meets (-Titta på ordföljden mot slutet av meningen). In the beginning, it is very rigid but when Nick leaves the lonely for a while their old love for each other resumes (Rigid är inte riktigt passande här, hela meningen har märklig ordföljd, det saknas något ord och finns ett kommatecken du borde ta bort. Läs den noga igen).

One day, Nick, Jordan and Gatsby are home to Tom and Daisy (-Är man home to någon? Vad är man då? Någons hem. Hur skriver du istället? Skippa kommatecknet). Then Tom Gatsby and Daisys love each other (Daisys? Och Tom och Gatsby, är det två personer? Älskar alla tre varandra?). Tom gets angry and forces everyone to go to New York (pga tidigare meningar förstår jag här inte riktigt varför han blir arg. Becomes angry är snyggare). They are then in a luxurious hotel room (They end up in a...?). There then starts a rage between Tom and Gatsby (-Ett bråk? Kolla upp vad det heter, och se över ordföljden), Tom starts talking about Gatsby's background and how he could become so rich. Gatsby gets an outbreak and always asks Daisy to tell Tom she has never loved him (Always?). The problem is that Daisy is getting more insecure and the truth is that she has loved Tom.

When evening comes they go home again. Gatsby and Daisy go together and Tom, Nick and Jordan go together (how do they go? by car? or do they in fact leave together? Specify, or use a different word than go). When Nick, Jordan and Tom travel through the valley of ashes they discover that Myrtle has been hit and died. Myrtle is Tom's mistress. Myrtle's husband George thinks it's Gatsby who drove on Myrtle but really it was Daisy (-kolla upp vad köra på heter på engelska). This gets Nick to find out later by Gatsby (hänger inte med, vad menar du? Se över meningen). Gatsby still chooses to take the blame to protect Daisy (bra mening!).

George wants to avenge himself and enters Gatsby and shoots him and then himself (does he really enter Gatsby? What does he enter?) , och lägg till and then shoots himself). Daisy never admits that she was and continues with her life as before with Tom (was what?).

Nick finishes his relationship with Jordan and moves from there (skippa from there, byt mot vad stället heter eller mot away).

Tror överlag du behöver läsa det du skrivit lite mer noggrannt. Men du har visst potential att bli bra på engelska, så kämpa på bara.
