Feedback/respons På My favorite holiday text

Hej

EID AL FITR

My favorite holiday is Eid al Fitr. Eid al Fitr is an Islamic holiday that almost every Muslim in the whole world celebrates. Muslims celebrate this holiday the first day after the month of Ramadan has been fasted. For a whole month, Muslims around the world fast every day to remember how it feels to be poor and suffer for food and drinks.

This originally started when the prophet Mohammed told the Muslim people at that time to fast and remember the poor. This is still one of the most important duties for a Muslim.

And this is how Eid al Fitr comes in. This holiday is seen as a celebration for all the people that have been fasting throughout the month and finally can eat casually again.

Eid al Fitr is a one-day holiday and starts in the morning. Muslims dress up in new clothes and look as nice as possible and then go to the mosque to pray the Eid prayer. This takes around 30 min and after this prayer, most people head home to meet and greet their friends and family. After this Muslims usually eat traditional food. In my family, we usually eat different desserts and for the main course, we eat sometimes biryani and sometimes couscous.

This holiday is my favorite holiday for me because of how everybody gathers around and builds such a big family. But also because it has the thought that everybody and every single Muslim in the entire world do the same thing. That just gets me thinking and remembering how many people actually do this.
