Hej kan någon läsa igenom och se om jag har skrivit grammatiskt rätt? Känns som om meningsbyggnaden är konstig... Tack i förhand!!!

This image shows an extreme basic setup for a microbial fuel cell. It consists of an anode, a cathode, a proton or cation exchange membrane and an electrical circuit.

Microbial fuel cells contains of two chambers, the anode and the cathode chamber. On the anode chamber there are a certain group of bacteria that have to undergo anaerobic respiration, where they break down organic molecules in the absence of oxygen to produce electricity and other by-products such as water. The electrons from the organic waste, are carried through the electrical circuit from the anode to the cathode, producing electricity in the process, in addition to water and carbon dioxide.

 

How can this be useful?

Fransie is from South Africa where the landscape is dominated by electricity from coal. There are many other countries that produces electricity from coal, for instance China, Japan, India, Germany, United States and much more. South Africa as well as the other countries are looking for an alternative sustainable energy solution. In the future, after a lot of improvements, microbial fuel cells can definitely be the next used renewable energy.
