Engelska- My TV-habits

Jag har skrivit en engelska text, men den behöver bli rättad. Jag ska lämna in den idag 23.59, så om det är någon duktig på engelska som kanske kan hjälpa mig vore väldigt hjälpsamt. Det handlar om mina TV-vanor.
My TV-habits
There are screens everywhere: outside, at work, at home and practically everywhere. However, it is not as bad as some people assume that they are. Nowadays technology is so developed and great in many aspects. It is a way of learning, living, and connecting. I personally think that screens, like TVs, are not all that bad. Here is not only a short description of my TV-schedule but also why it is a good schedule because I do not watch that much TV.
Firstly, like I said earlier, I do not watch TV that much, at least that is my opinion. Obviously, that depends on who you ask. According to my parents, I watch too much TV. I watch TV for about 30 minutes a day on weekdays, and 2 hours a day on weekends. That would be a total of about 6 hours and 30 minutes of TV a week, that is definitely not much. However, for some people, 6 hours and 30 minutes a week, is a lot.
Secondly, I usually watch TV in the evening from 6-8 pm in my own room. At least I do not watch TV in the morning, which is not good for your health according to researchers. Besides, I do not disturb anyone. We got a TV in the living room too and one in my room, but I usually watch TV in my own room. Unless I want to watch TV with my family of course.
Finally, I do not even watch TV programs that often, the only programs I watch are M-TV and sometimes Cartoon Network with my younger brothers. I have to admit though that I do watch Netflix more than I should, but all my favorite movies and series are in there. Besides, I only watch Netflix on the weekends, so that should be okay.
To sum up, I do not assume that I watch TV much. However, my parents do not agree with me. They assume that I watch too much TV than I should. Still, I have to admit that I watch too much on Netflix. That does not matter, though, because I only watch Netflix at weekends. Now that you know all about my TV-schedule, do not you think that I am right? It is a great schedule, is it not?

Ordningen som orden "do not you think" ligger i verkar lite tokig. Jag tror att du kanske är van vid att höra meningar så som "Don't you think I'm right?" (vilket är korrekt) men att du, av något skäl, har undvikit apostrofer (') och istället har du försökt att skriva om termer så som "don't" till "do not". Problemet här är att ordet "not" ibland hoppar lite längre bak i meningen när man utvecklar "don't". Jag skulle föreslå att du istället skriver så här:
"Now that you know all about my TV-schedule, do you not think that I am right?" [utan apostrofer]
... eller så här:
"Now that you know all about my TV-schedule, don't you think that I'm right?" [med apostrofer]
2. "However, it is not as bad as some people assume that they are."
Jag blir lite förvirrad över att du både använder "they" och "it". Antingen bör det stå
"However, they are not as bad as some people assume that they are." [om "they" handlar om "screens"]
eller
"However, it is not as bad as some people assume that it is." [om "it" handlar om någonting annat]
3. "To sum up, I do not assume that I watch TV much."
Ordet "assume" brukar användas när någon antar att ett påstående är sant utan bevis. Eftersom att du har givit argument och på det sättet bevisat att du inte ser på för mycket TV så tror jag att det kanske finns andra ord som skulle passa bättre. Här är ett alternativ:
"To sum up, I do not think that I watch TV [too] much." ["too" = "alltför" eller "för"]
4. "They assume that I watch too much TV than I should."
Har ej tid att motivera det här förslaget. Måste dra. Antingen kan du skriva
"They assume that I watch too much TV."
eller
"They assume that I watch more TV than I should."

Detta hjälpte mig jättemycket, du anar inte hur mycket detta betyder för mig! Du har hjälpt mig så otroligt mycket, jag uppskattar detta så mycket. Jag har bara en sista fråga (om du har tid-inget måste), finns det fler ställen där jag kan byta plats på ordet "not"? Vår lärare uppskattar inte när vi använder oss av apostrof, hon anser att man inte bör skriva så på nationella prov. Därför tränar vi på detta i skolan också.
