Charles Dickens


Charles Dickens was an author. His full name was Charles John Huffam Dickens. He was born in february 7 1812, in Portsmouth.


His father’s name was John Dickens. And his mother’s name was Elizabeth Barrow. He had 7 siblings. His family were really poor when he was young.


After they had moved a couple times Charles father John went to prison in 1824, when Charles was only 12 years old. After his father was sent to prison he was forced to leave school, so he could work at a factory. This was the best help he could give to his family, to help with the income. Luckily when his father John came home he could go back to school again. But in 1827 he had to drop out of school again, to help his family again with the income. But this time he got job as an office boy. And this actually became a step to his career.


In 1836 he published his first story “Sketches by boz”. After he published his first book, did everything go well. He released more stories and sketches, one of the stories is called “the posthumous papers of the pickwick club”. Around the same time, he fell in love with Catherine Hogarth. They got 10 childrens before they separated in 1858. In 1846 he became an editor of the daily news. Around this time he started his first and one of the most famous novels, called “Oliver Twist. Which is still famous today.


His most famous books is Oliver Twist, A Christmas Carol, Nicholas Nickleby, David Copperfield and A Tale of Two Cities and Great Expectations.


Unfortunately Charles died on june 9 1870, he died of an stroke. He lived a short life, he became only 58 years old.


He’s biggest concern was to earn money of his writing, probably because in his childhood he was so poor. Another very big concern for him was that he were really sad about what happened around the world. All the wars and stuff like that. That’s is also why he often wrote stories about poor people and wars.

Det enda som du skulle kunna förbättra är att försöka göra varje mening lite längre. Det blir ett bättre flyt i läsandet. Det är jobbigt för den som läser om man hela tiden stöter på punkter och komman. Du behöver inte heller ha så många styckeindelningar! Förstår du hur jag tänker? Mvh.

Du hade några fel här och där men håller med Slinken med det där om styckeindelningar.

Iallafall så fixade jag din text men du bestämmer om du vill fixa det där med styckdeindelningarna, punkterna och komman. Här är texten jag fixade.
