Argumenterande text- Varför är sömn viktig (2källor)

Why sleep is important

Every person needs sleep, every person needs enough of sleep, every person needs to remember and strengthen the memories, the past. Some people always have some hours of sleep, some tend to stay awake.

Why is sleep so important? What benefits do good sleeps offer?

In the article “ Sleep ´resets´ brain connections crucial for memory and learning, study reveals (23rd August 2016) published by Ian sample, he write about brain functions happening when we are asleep. Ian implies that inside the brain there is a connectivity, which make memories and an overloaded connectivity makes it harder to remember things. Therefore sleep is needed to reset the connectivity.

Ian also brings about therapeutic sleep deprivation, which is therapeutic. The theory means that the mood will be better through improving the connectivity. Nissen, the head leader of a study about therapeutic mostly about how to wind down the activity, says the following: “Sleep is required for healthy brain functions”.  At the same time there is another theory called synaptic homeostasis meaning that when awake the synapses strengthen the connectivity and as more information is learned, these eventually saturate the brain. The homeostasis requires very much energy and thus will need to wind down the activity. This means also that if we want to stay energized for tomorrow, we need to have a good sleep, according to my opinion.

To summarize it, the theory claims that the better sleep, the better the connectivity and the better the connectivity, perhaps logically speaking, the better at writing down memories.

Another similar scientific argument in ted talk “sleep is your superpowers” (2019) published by Watt walker, he claims that sleep is needed just as Ian does. Watt walker says that sleep is needed no only for strengthening memories, but also for the purpose of learning and those informations that comes with it.

A group with 8h sleep will score 100 on the test, while a group with sleep deprivation will lose 40 from, therefore receive 60. So if students would like to score 100, they might as well have a proper sleep.

A reason for that could be as Ian had written: a better connectivity, but now also for the process of consuming information easier.

Avslutning-Jobbar med det.

Lite feedback:

Du börjar bra men du repeterar dig lite i stycket "Every person needs sleep, every person needs enough of sleep, every person needs"

Every person needs sleep ? sedan every person need enough of sleep, och därefter every person.

Skulle formatera om detta lite till tex:   Sleep is vital to all human bodies, ....

"To summarize it," = Detta är bra sätt att börja in conclusion., men sedan börjar du skriva "Another Similar scientific...

Kika igenom strukturen nedan.

      - Arg 1

      - Arg 2

      - Motargument (du är medveten att andra tycker annat, men håller ej med)

     - Arg 3 (frivilligt)

Conclusion  (Ska vara ganska lik intron. Men omformulerad )

Ok. Hur är texten nu? Vad är bra? Vad är mindre bra? Vad kan förbättras?

Why sleep is important?

Every person needs sleep, every person needs enough sleep, every person needs to remember and strengthen the past memories. Some people always have some hours of sleep, some tend to stay awake.

Why is sleep so important? What benefits does a good sleep have to offer?

In the article “ Sleep ´resets´ brain connections crucial for memory and learning, study reveals (23rd August 2016) published by Ian Sample, he writes about brain functions happening when we are asleep. Ian implies that inside the brain there is a connectivity, which writes down memories, but if it’s overloaded connectivity it makes it harder to remember things. Ian also brings about therapeutic sleep deprivation, which is therapeutic. The theory means that the mood will be better through improving the connectivity. This means also that if we want to stay energized for tomorrow, we need to have a good sleep, according to my opinion.

Another similar scientific argument in ted talk “sleep is your superpowers” (2019) published by Watt walker, he claims that sleep is needed for the same reason as what Ian Sample claims. Watt walker says that sleep is needed not only for strengthening memories, but it’s needed also for the purpose of learning and the information that comes with it.

A group with 8h sleep will score 100 on the test, while a group with sleep deprivation will lose 40 from it, therefore receive 60. So if students would like to score 100, they might as well have a better sleep.

This is a sign that the group who sleep better, will have it easier to consume information, improve the learning. Not only that but to also have a better connectivity, making it easier to write down memories as Ian implies.

In conclusion, no matter how long the sleep is, we will remember and consume more things we will ever think of and also be in a better mood nevertheless.
